Mornings around here are always pretty lazy. I am n o t a morning person. I used to sleep well into the late morning or early afternoon. I just function much better in the later hours of the day and into the night. I’ve just been that way forever. But becoming a mother has changed that for me. I get up much earlier now and spending it with my beautiful daughter makes me even smile before noon every now and then;) But just because I’m up doesn’t mean I’m ever productive! Short of changing diapers and making breakfast not much else happens! We usually curl up on the couch and watch cartoons or I’ll hop online to check Facebook and we’ll listen to some music and play blocks or something. I love our mornings. Lily is always cheerful and loving. They are peaceful and just a nice time for her and I to just “be lazy”!
I really have no idea what any of that has to do with these pictures, but they were taken on one of our lazy mornings last week! The sunlight here is constant and amazing! And I really need to start taking more pictures around here. But I have a feeling things are about to get busy:)
Eva is still getting used to having a giant lens shoved in her face while she’s eating or napping or what have you! But she is stunning!
And miss Lillian is just always gorgeous! I love her precious eyelashes. She got those from her handsome Daddy, that’s for sure!! And when she smiles she squints in the cutest way and looks just like her Aunt Haley:)
This was taken the morning after we brought Eva home. We got her the night before but Lily slept through the whole thing so she had no idea we had a cat until the next morning when she woke up!
Thomas was at work and I was a little nervous. Lily seems to be scared of small animals.
Eva was up and walking through the hallway when down and started calling “bubba” after the cat!
I m and Eva followed me in. I sat down with the two of them and they cuddled up with me and never once hissed or cried! I left to get Lily some milk and breakfast and the 2 of them just sat together on the couch and watched cartoons together! Eva followed Lily around the house all day. It was pretty amazing! And I was just so glad that I didn’t have to deal with any issues between them! Lily was gentle and sweet with her and Eva loved to cuddle and give/get kisses!

Sorry that I have been so MIA lately:/ Things are going to be picking up around here, that’s for sure:)
I took these last month while we were at the Christmas event our community held for all of the children.
I had the hardest time choosing between the black and white or color conversions of these. I leaned more toward the black and whites but thought the color was just too pretty to toss. So the last two pictures are in both conversions;)
Thomas is always entertainment at its best for Lily girl! When they are outside he chases her and spins her around anddd sneaks her treats! She was running to him as fast as her little legs could get her to him! [He had root beer in his hand! ...and Lily loves root beer:)]

Here she was twisting from side to side [dancing] and humming/babbling [singing] along with the Christmas carols that were playing in the background:)

Then she took off! I was trying to call her name and get her to look at the camera as she ran by… This is the fake smile she flashed me:)

So I had to get up and run out in front of her and act like a crazy woman to get her attention:p

And here she is a little later enjoying some yummy chips in her stroller, watching kids ice skate!

PLEASE BEAR WITH ME AS I GIVE THE BLOG A BIT OF A FACE LIFT;)
IT’S NOT AN EASY-AS-PIE PROCESS AND MIGHT TAKE ME A NIGHT OR TWO TO GET FINISHED
BUT I PROMISE THAT IT WILL ALL BE WORTH IT IN THE END!!
THANK YOU<3
