I made it through the first phase and it looks like there is a little progress:)
Maybe not a ton of difference in my appearance but I do feeel much better! I have more energy and each work out is easier than the day before… so that means I’m getting some endurance:)
I promised myself that I could do the “modified” version of the work out for the first 5 days and after that I had to suck it up and go full force! And that for the first 5 days I would just do it once a day and then after that I would move to doing it twice a day. That didn’t work so well. I’ve yet to do it twice in one day. Things have just been a little lazy around here. But, I’m hoping to start doing them twice a day once I get back from San Diego on Monday.
I’m going to visit my friend Rachael. for a few days. We were inseparable in 8th and 9th grade and have become close again through Facebook:) She is also doing the shred so I look forward to making a fool of myself next to her while we shred together this weekend:)

Welp. Here I am, in alll of my glory [gag]. The 30 Day Shred is a work out program by The Biggest Loser’s Jillian Michaels. I bought the DVD a few months after giving birth to Lily. I never even opened it. Thomas has planned a very romantic vacation for the two of us to Jamaica in Spetmember to celebrate 9 years together and almost 5 years of marriage! So I figured now was as good a time as any to get this body back in to shape!
I’m not proud of the way my body looks right now but I have never wanted to be a skinny woman. I have always loved and embraced my curves. But this is just a little out of hand for my liking! Thomas is working with the P90x program in Germany so I guess if he can do it… so can I!
I’ll be posting a little collage like this every 10 days until day 30. I do plan on continuing the program through to day 60… but I might just be getting ahead of myself.
